Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1
- Arrival at NJP / Bagdogra – Transfer to Gangtok (125 km / 4–5 hrs)
- Meet and greet at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport.
- Drive to Gangtok, the charming capital city of Sikkim.
- En route, enjoy views of River Teesta and scenic valleys.
- Check-in at your hotel and relax after the long drive.
- Evening Options:
- Leisure walk at MG Marg – the heart of Gangtok city.
- Explore local cafés and souvenir shops.
- Overnight stay: Gangtok
Day 2
- Gangtok – Transfer to Lachen (120 km / 6 hrs)
- Breakfast at hotel and start your journey to Lachen, a peaceful mountain village in North Sikkim.
- En route Sightseeing:
- Seven Sisters Waterfall – a stunning cascade of seven streams.
- Naga Waterfall – ideal for short photography breaks.
- Singhik View Point – offers majestic views of Mt. Khangchendzonga and Mt. Siniolchu (weather permitting).
- Reach Lachen by evening and check-in at hotel.
- Dinner and overnight stay at Lachen.
Day 3
- Lachen – Gurudongmar Lake – Lachung (120 km / 6–7 hrs total drive)
- Early morning (4:30–5:00 AM) drive to Gurudongmar Lake (17,800 ft) – one of the highest lakes in the world.
- En route, witness the rugged beauty of Thangu Village and Chopta Valley (photo stop).
- Return to Lachen for lunch.
- Later, proceed to Lachung, another picturesque North Sikkim village.
- Evening: Free for leisure or explore nearby waterfalls.
- Overnight stay: Lachung
- Note: Optional Kala Pather on Direct Payment Basis of 4000/- Depends on Weather and Permits
Day 4
- Lachung – Yumthang Valley – Gangtok (140 km / 6–7 hrs)
- After breakfast, visit Yumthang Valley – known as the Valley of Flowers, located at 11,800 ft.
- On the way, enjoy views of Rhododendron forests and hot springs (famous for medicinal value).
- Return to Lachung for lunch.
- Afterward, drive back to Gangtok.
- Overnight stay: Gangtok
- Note: Optional excursion to Zero Point (extra cost; depends on weather/permit).
Day 5
- Gangtok – NJP / Bagdogra Drop (125 km / 4–5 hrs)
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- Scenic drive back to NJP / Bagdogra with memories of the Himalayas.
- Tour ends with pleasant experiences and photo stops along the way.
